Safe DIY: The Two-Adjustment Fix

If any garage door won't stay down fix is safe to try yourself, it's this one — two controls, quarter-turn increments, a test cycle between each. Springs stay untouched.

The force and travel-limit screws sit on the back or side of the opener motor unit — two recessed screws under a light plastic cover, marked FORCE and TRAVEL or LIMIT. A stepladder and a flat screwdriver are all you need.
